To design a new sitting experience, we stopped looking at chairs and started looking at people. Understanding posture at work and how the body naturally moves caused us to ask, could a chair act as a system, just like the human body? This question led us to rethink fundamentally how to design a chair. Designed for the way we work today, Gesture Ergonomic Office Chair supports the use of a large range of technologies and their associated sitting postures. Highly responsive, Steelcase Gesture is an ergonomic office chair engineered to adapt to fit people of all shapes and sizes, with intuitive adjustments to fine-tune the perfect fit.
