The new Colnago C68 is the well-known storied Italian brand’s latest iteration to its amazing flagship carbon bicycle.
Colnago’s new C68 is a very significant leap from the current C64, managing to blend modern, aero-influenced aesthetics with the advanced hidden lugged construction underneath the hood.
The Colnago C68 is made of six different parts. The top tube directly incorporates the upper head tube section, and the lower half of the head tube is integrated with the down tube. The seat tube now includes the bottom bracket shell and stubs for the seatstays, chainstays, and down tube.
A separate seat lug joins now the seat tube and top tube, and the rear end is molded in two sections as the old C64. All of these pieces are built, formed and molded separately, after that everything gets bonded together to create the finished frame.
