Welcome a stylish tough watch made from a blend of metal, carbon and resin.
With a carbon-reinforced resin monocoque case in a metal frame, this watch is both lighter in weight and more durable. The metal frame is connected with a multi-layer bezel forged from carbon fiber sheet and laminated glass by heat press to form the base plate, and then cut to shape. The layered composite band results in a lighter watch with a more detailed metallic texture.
The MTG-B2000YBD has a carbon molded bezel frame on the side of the watch to make it 77% lighter than a stainless steel watch. A topcoat carbon sheet coats the sides at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions for extra toughness, while a tubular carbon sheet wraps around the lughole for increased durability.
