Senter dapat bekerja dengan baterai flat-top atau button-top 14500 yang tidak terproteksi serta baterai NiMH AA. Emisar D3AA tidak dapat bekerja dengan baterai 14500 terproteksi.

Senter akan di-flash dengan firmware terbaru sebelum pengiriman. Kit flashing UPDI yang kompatibel dengan D3AA belum tersedia untuk dibeli.
