Limited K Custom Hybrid HiHat pair with a wide range of sounds
The Reversible HiHat of the Zildjian K Custom Hybrid series was released for its 10th anniversary and is strictly limited. In cooperation with drummer Akira Jimbo, this excellently crafted HiHat was developed, which has a special feature: both cymbals of the HiHat can be played as top or bottom cymbals, depending on which sound is currently in demand. The combination produces a musically dark sound with the necessary portion of brilliance.

One of the 14" Zildjian K Custom Hybrid Reversible HiHat cymbals is half lathed and half unlathed, the other is a mixture of traditional and brilliant finish. It also features the proven "Hybrid Mastersound Hammering", which prevents air entrapment during playing and produces a clear, dry sound.

A wide range of sounds and an elegant look
One cymbal of the K Custom Hybrid Reversible HiHat pair is not lathed / brilliant on the inner half and the other half in traditional Zildjian K style. The unlathed half controls the noise of the Reversible HiHat and makes the sound dry and musical. This cymbal is ideal as a top when a brighter, clearer sound is required.

The other cymbal of the pair has a traditional finish on the inner half, while the other side is in a brilliant finish. This cymbal was also treated with the so-called Hybrid Mastersound Hammering. This prevents air entrapment while playing the drums and creates a dark, soft tone that sounds defined and full.
