- 100% solid carbon fiber shells are produced by a special winding process that make it both light-weight and high strength
- One piece patented 100% carbon fiber hoops help to focus every attack, and provide better resonant abilities to the head, shell, and snare guts.
- The high tension ring is made of 100% carbon fiber, and feature the strength and lightweight characteristics which helps to further reduce the overall weight of the drum.
- Both ends of the carbon fiber tube lugs are connected with stainless steel nuts to enhance the range of the tension.
- The strainers are made with the CNC machining, and helps to make the use of the throw-off simple and effortless.
- The quick-strainer-system, allows the snare guts to be removed quickly for last minute head changes, or gut tuning all without removing the entire mechanism off the drum.
- The snare mounting system allows the drum to be flipped up or down when not in use, and features rubber stoppers to prevent wear on both the drum and carrier during pivoting.
- Mair marching snare drums feature three unique Free Form Feet that allow the drum to be placed safely on various surfaces either during performance
- 6mm high tension rods are standard on all drums, and are produced in Taiwan.
- Through the use of strong fiber materials, 20mm reinforcement rings are added to the inside of every tension ring to create a 30-Degree bearing edge which helps produce a warm and focused sound.
