Asics takes some of the support, and stability features of the its iconic Gel Resolution, and creates a more flexible, comfortable, and budget-friendly option, with the Gel Challenger 13. New to this update, Wingwall technology has been placed on the lateral edge of the midsole, and maximizes the stability during those aggressive changes of direction. Signature GEL Cushioning remains intact allowing for excellent shock absorption. The durable AHARPLUS rubber outsole is formed into a modified herringbone pattern, for maximum traction and durability on a variety of court surfaces.

Upper: Ortholite sockliner provides soft, step-in comfort. Medial drag protection added for those players who slide on hard courts.

Midsole: Asics' signature GEL cushioning system in both the rear and forefoot offers plush cushioning. Wingwall technology has been added to maximize lateral stability.

Outsole: AHARPLUS rubber outsole in a modified herringbone tread pattern, provides exceptional traction and durability on a variety of court surfaces.
