For more than four decades, the Salazar Family sold their coffee to the cooperatives. Exhausted from the instability of the commercial market, they entered the international market in 2018 with our partners, 100 LIBRES. The Los Cipreses coffee farm and micro-mill, surprisingly, just recently started to process their own coffees. Never having tasted this coffee before, we found it absolutely fantastic on the blind cupping table. To us, they are producing one of the greatest aromatic Caturra’s and SL28’s in the West Valley. Over the years, Cristian has been reinvesting his sales profits into their own micro-mill, which we are planning to help develop before the upcoming harvest.
