Washi, the Japanese traditional paper is made from the bark of small trees found in Japan and it is so to the touch, creating a feeling of warmth. Every sheet is hand-dyed by craftsmen in Kyoto, with a wooden plate reproducing one colors/patterns by one. Washi paper is a high-end Japanese paper which used in traditional arts. It #39;s registered as a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage. The tea canister is made with high quality material and it comes with a lid to enhance the storage capability especially for Matcha.
