Lipovol MAC is a pure, nourishing macadamia oil – one of the richest natural Omega-7 sources in the world – that provides multiple key benefits for beautiful, healthy skin and hair. It features high levels of monounsaturated fatty acids not found in other plant-based oils – the rare Omega-7 (palmitoleic acid) and Omega- 9 (oleic acid). Macadamia oil’s fatty acids are known to be ultra-moisturizing, and have a unique molecular structure that gives the oil better oxidative stability. Found naturally in sebum, Omega-7 also has anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, brightening, and slip properties. Additionally, macadamia oil is rich in phytosterols (mainly sitosterol), squalene and vitamin E (mainly tocotrienols). Squalene and tocotrienols are known to have anti-oxidant properties, and may contribute to the oil’s good stability.

Lipovol MAC is ideal for normal, dry or sensitive
skin; normal or dry hair; and all ages. It
is the perfect nourishing treatment to help the
face, body, lips, hair and scalp look and feel
more beautiful and healthy. This incredible
all-in-one product can be used head to toe –
as a moisturizer or serum alone; as a booster
mixed with other products before application;
or as an easy-to-use ingredient for many types
of formulas. It is an excellent carrier to dilute
essential oils.
Lipovol MAC should be added into the oil
phase of an emulsion with other oil phase ingredients.
Lipovol MAC should not be heated
above 85ºC for a prolonged period of time.
This has the potential to cause discoloration.
The addition of anti-oxidants, such as Vitamin
E, is recommended to increase the shelf life of
formulas containing natural oils.
