EWF SERIES SPRING BALANCER (STANDARD TYPE WITH SAFETY DEVICE) These series feature fully enclosed housing, fall-arrest device, and manual drum locks, plug type cable set, cartridge spring assembly, worm gear spring adjustment. The exposed part of the drum is minimized to ensure worker safety. The fall-arrest device prevents a suspended object from dropping even in the unlikely event that the spring breaks. ^ The balancer of this series is equipped with safety features that are same as the EWS series. It also has a gauge for adjustment with respect to the suspended mass.
