As reported by Roland Quandt, the GoPro Hero 10 Black will mostly keep the design of its predecessor. The real changes are on the inside and will ensure that the Hero 10 Black is a proper upgrade. The action cam will be equipped with GoPro's new GP2 chip, which is said to double overall performance and, with the aid of newer hardware, deliver much-improved performance in poor lighting scenarios. Image stabilization is also tipped to be better, thanks to GoPro's HyperSmooth 4.0 technology.
The GoPro Hero 10 Black will be capable of shooting 23 MP images, and 5.3K videos at 60 FPS. 2.7k slow-motion videos at 240 FPS are also possible. Courtesy of the aforementioned HyperSmooth 4.0, the Hero 10 Black delivers better horizon alignment with a higher slope limit. The new camera will allow the capture of 15.8 MP stills from 5.3K videos.

A hydrophobic lens coating for protection and minimized reflections
A 2.27-inch touch display with improved sensitivity and a higher refresh rate
