A role-playing video game, or rather pair of games, developed by Gust and published by Kool Kizz on November 15, 2001 for the Sega Dreamcast. The title is, effectively, a compilation of Atelier Marie Plus and Atelier Elie with a few minor graphical improvements. The compilation was only released in Japan.
Capital of Schigsal Kingdom, Salburg, is home to the famous Salburg Academy, which specializes in the studies of alchemy. The school is revered as producing some of the best alchemists on the entire continent. The game's main protagonist Marie is getting the worst grades in the academy's history. Despite her embarrassment, Marie constantly tries to improve herself, but also constantly fails. Miserably failing at alchemy, her instructor Ingrid decides that Marie needs to be taught with unconventional methods. After Elie was saved by Marie, Elie decides to follow in Marie's footsteps. She enrolls herself into the very same academy that Marie was once a student at in hopes of becoming a great alchemist. Because of the nature of the game, the player can pursue different directions for Elie's life. The game follows an "open world" type style, which allows the player to make a variety of choices on how the game will progress. In total, there are 10 regular endings and 2 bad endings that are achievable.
