Deconstructed takes on shoes have been a success in recent times. Nike has done it for bit with the Air Force 1’s and this summer, the swoosh brand will be going at it once more. Utilising the low AF1’s as the base idea, Nike worked on this new piece by adding on different distinctive features such as the velcro strap at the heel area, slightly elongated saturated blue tongue with round indented segments, taped seams in bright coral and a pencilled “n.354” on the sides. The other side features a translucent see through concept that was made popular with the recently debuted React Element 87. Suede, which is rarely seen on an AF1 sneaker, sees itself being used at the back to house the traditional Nike Air branding, the new AF1 Low Type is already available at selected LE stores islandwide. However, customers are only allowed to buy one pair person due tp the limited quantity. The sizing ranges from US 7.5-12 with the exception of US 11.5.
