After teaming up with ASICSTIGER on the GEL-Mai and Kayano 5 OG in April, British designer Vivienne Westwood takes on the GEL-Saga, HyperGEL-LYTE and GEL-DS TRAINER OG for her next collaborations with the Japanese heritage brand this year. The collection is inspired by paintings from the 18th century French artist François Boucher.
Vivienne Westwood keeps things simple on the upper of the GEL-Saga, opting for an all-white leather with contrasting branding on the heel. Highlights are the translucent outsoles that feature the »Daphnis & Chloe« Boucher painting on the bottom, as well as a tag that reads »CHAOS« on the medial sides of the heels.
While the GEL-Saga appears very clean, the GEL-DS TRAINER OG is dressed in grey and black with multicolored overlays and details. Highlights are the inner soles that feature François Boucher's »Daphnis & Chloe« painting, as well as a tag that reads »CHAOS« on the medial sides of the heels.
The HyperGEL-LYTE is also designed with the romantic rococo painting »Daphnis & Chloe« by Francois Boucher, printed on the body of the sneaker.
